sweet and tasty cabbage dressed with sesame
Sweet cabbage goes well with sweet sesame dressing. This healthy and simple japanese dish is popular.

1/4 cabbage (200g)
==white sesame dressing ==
2 tbsp white surigoma (the toasted and ground white sesame seeds)
2 tsp sugar
1 + 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tea spoon vinegar
1 pinch of salt
- Remove the stem of cabbage. Throw the cabbage into boiling water (with a bit of salt added), blanch it for a minute or so, and then drain and chill in iced water.Squeeze it well. Coarsely cut into about 3cm squares.
- Mix the white surigoma, sugar, soy sauce and vinegar in a bowl. Toss the cabbage in white sesame dressing.
